Again... name the top 7 players coming out of college this summer and who is a "can't miss" pick that niccas think would legitimately gain this team a consistent 2-4 wins the next few years?:ohhh:

I say fukk that ONE pick for this ONE year if we can get a really SOLID coach for the next few YEARS. :yeshrug:

Smith from ND has ACL/MCL tear.

Jaylon Smith suffered torn ACL, MCL in Fiesta Bowl, according to report

The top of the 2016 NFL Draft was shaken up during the Fiesta Bowl, when Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith suffered a knee injury that head coach Brian Kelly called significant. A week later, ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting Smith will undergo knee surgery to repair a torn ACL and MCL.

Mortensen used the word "including", so we don't know if the PCL or LCL are also damages. Injuries to either of those ligaments would add further time to Smith's rehab process. If it is "just" the ACL and MCL, he is already looking at an extensive rehab process. NaVorro Bowman tore his ACL and MCL, and did not return to the field until this season. Adrian Peterson made a quick return in nine months, but he "only" suffered an ACL tear.

I value draft picks, and especially high draft picks - I was just showing y'all how much I value them.

I'm already on record saying that I wouldn't trade 3 1st round picks for any player in history.
blind or with the benefit of hindsight? Baalke drafting or nah? :patrice:

blind, regardless of who's drafting. picks are super important in the years of salary cap. you can build a dynasty with the right picks. or you can keep your team in the gutter for decades because of bad picks. but having picks is always > not having them.

I feel you, but I'm moving away from being stuck on first rounders outside of elite linemen and the occasional can't miss QB. Having a good 2nd-4th round draft >>> 1st round....but maybe I feel this way because baalke been shyt in the first and Seattle balling out with 6th round picks :francis:
