i wonder when the renew date was for season tickets, had to be right after chip signed cause i would be pissed if i was one of those ticket holders

the lack of activity also can mean that the coaching staff is happy with the young guys they already have especially on the line

hopefully davis and brown start at rg and rt

at this point, most season ticket holders are either super hardcore fans or BMF Silicon Valley dudes, in either case, both segments will renew

He was very active in his 2nd and 3rd year. His first year he didn't do much of anything as far as the roster was concerned. The 2nd year was the year he started going ham on the roster and I'm pretty sure the reasoning wasn't for talent reasons. He traded Shady for money reasons and said that on the record. He doesn't need to deconstruct our roster for money reasons. It's already dirt cheap and full of bullshyt.

He doesn't gaf about talent on the roster. He traded Desean because he wasn't committing to Chip's system.

Chip only got control in his last season I believe.

The question is why not wait until April 1st? Make the Niners cut Kap, or pay him his money. These other teams have no reason to push for Kap at all, just waiting to see what the Niners end up doing.

April first doesn't matter, they won't cut him knowing 2 teams want him. I see this issue going into training camp

They've been saying all along they have no problem keeping him if it comes to that. $60 million in cap space with his contract on the books, so it isn't going to make or break the Niners.

On the other hand, the Broncos will go into training camp with Mark Sanchez and the #1. They'll blink before the Niners do.

My point is that if Baalke doesn't get the deal he wants then fukk it, if Kaeps holds out it's gonna be a bigger problem for him than us at this point. I get the point of at least getting something out of Kaep and take the 3rd/4th rounder, but I also get the point of pushing to get a good deal for him, even if it means ending up empty handed in the end.
