I'm about to throw this Xbox Music player in the bushes. Why is it so hard to organize shyt with this? I can't just simply add album covers that I download to my shyt? I know it has the match information option, but some stuff doesn't match because it's underground. Which music players are you using? The Xbox app looks decent but it's lacking functionality wise on there.

For example, I just loaded an album on there. I picked the option to match album details and it threw the songs all out of order. I try to rearrange the order and it's not letting me. Why can't I do something that simple on this shyt?

I'm still using google music. I see no point in using anything else at this point.

I got windows 8 on my PC and the transition was seamless. It took a few minutes to get adjusted to a few new bells and whistles but overall it's stable and EVERYTHING works exactly the same as before.

I also downloaded stardock's start8 and I now have the Windows 7 style start menu.

Check your display settings and make sure the resolution is on the recommended resolution(I think you know that already.)

Check your graphics card control panel and mess with the display settings. I don't know exactly what settings would come up but if you have a Nvidia card check the Nvidia graphics control panel.

Me myself Xbox music is being retarded and I went back to pandora. Every time I switch from Xbox music to another program the music volume drops down very low whereas when I first fired Xbox music up the volume stayed normal.

I've been messing with it for the last couple of months. I learned all the touch gestures, keyboard shortcuts (love using the keys since I'm always on PuTTy anyway), and secrets.

There are still a lot of flaws (Two Chromes, Mail Client, CPU heating due to Metro Apps, no communication between Metro/Desktop,...) but I like it. Extremely fast. Programs running smoother. Synced up everything on Start Screen (calendars, contacts, fb, twitter). Using the gestures and keyboard shortcuts is where it's at though. Make the transition a lot quicker.

I like it friends. Once it gets tweaked it's going to be a problem.

Not all laptops have the touchscreens nor the power to take advantage of all the features.

what are you trying to get full screen exactly? The entire OS or a specific program?

If its the entire OS, check the resolution settings on on your monitor or video card. As far as program, nearly everything in Metro runs full screen by default. Desktop mode functions exactly as Windows 7
