This is by far the most painless OS installation I have ever had since I've been fukking with computers. shyt is BoSS status real talk.

Go ahead and get that Xbox music subscription to get that real piff. Unlimited streaming on all devices by the largest music library second only to Apple. $10/month. You'll never need to download again.

shyt is wack.

Granted, I've only messed with the version that I run through VMWare Player so it's not at full power, but nothing I'm seeing makes me want to fukk with it. The whole Metro UI and it's "apps" completely turn me off to the OS.

I've been messing with it for the last couple of months. I learned all the touch gestures, keyboard shortcuts (love using the keys since I'm always on PuTTy anyway), and secrets.

There are still a lot of flaws (Two Chromes, Mail Client, CPU heating due to Metro Apps, no communication between Metro/Desktop,...) but I like it. Extremely fast. Programs running smoother. Synced up everything on Start Screen (calendars, contacts, fb, twitter). Using the gestures and keyboard shortcuts is where it's at though. Make the transition a lot quicker.

I like it friends. Once it gets tweaked it's going to be a problem.

So ur running this on a tablet or touch screen monitor?

I don't plan on using the metro UI. Did Microsoft make any changes or improvement to the the desktop?

Yes you can download albums and play them offline, but they are encrypted and can only be played via the device. I have windows all over so its like I have the song available to me wherever and whenever I want to play it. shyt is piff.

i'm good with this now. i'm never going back to Windows 7 again. it runs great on that netbook too. if you just use the desktop part and skip the metro its still a better version of Windows 7.

I like it but I couldn't imagine using it without a dual monitor setup; i'm heavily considering switching to a three monitor setup so that metro ui can chill all by itself.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
I use my laptop to

1. Internet (browsing, downloading files)
2. Watching movies
3. MS Office
4. Uploading content to my Iphone (Itunes)

Window's 7 can do all of that. Window's 8 is mostly cosmetic. I could give 2 fukks about cosmetic changes. if I want to be amazed by visuals I can just install and dual boot to Unbutu or some shyt.

This video focuses on mouse and keyboard:

I'm using a laptop with a touchpad. I downloaded drivers that allow for gestures.

I got a touch mouse on the way for the desktop.
