I use my laptop to

1. Internet (browsing, downloading files)
2. Watching movies
3. MS Office
4. Uploading content to my Iphone (Itunes)

Window's 7 can do all of that. Window's 8 is mostly cosmetic. I could give 2 fukks about cosmetic changes. if I want to be amazed by visuals I can just install and dual boot to Unbutu or some shyt.
Cosign...For a person like me, Win 8 just good enough that I don't feel like taking the 30 minutes to go back to 7..... The task manager and explorer are much needed upgrades though

Yes you can download albums and play them offline, but they are encrypted and can only be played via the device. I have windows all over so its like I have the song available to me wherever and whenever I want to play it. shyt is piff.

that sounds dope but when iTunes streaming service launches though

:wow:

i'm good with this now. i'm never going back to Windows 7 again. it runs great on that netbook too. if you just use the desktop part and skip the metro its still a better version of Windows 7.

Its hilarious how quickly you flipped the script. This OS is easily the most fluid and stable version of Windows ever. Im not sure why you had so much trouble getting it installed, but I had no such issues.

I even installed this on an old WD raptor drive I had in my stash and this thing boots up faster than Windows 7 did on my SSD. It shuts down even FASTER...:ohlawd:

Microsoft truly outdid themselves with this one.

ITunes plans to launch a Pandora like service, not an all you can eat buffet like Microsoft and Spotify currently offer. And I wouldn't expect the Apple service to be free either.

spotify is better cause it's only five :jawalrus:

I think I'll stick with 7, at least until they iron out all the kinks

could you always mount an iso file inside the OS with no extra software?

I got that. It works well. Even got built in shortcuts (it works with android tablets too). But I only use it when when my laptop is hooked to the tv.

Btw, to all y'all on windows 8 that just want to use desktop mode download this app called classic shell (on the net not the windows store. Then you will get back the start button, you can disable gestures and it will be like a faster version of windows 7.
