Love quentin, love brad and leo but this ain't it chief. They had great chemistry but the movie was just kind of lame. The ending pissed me off because of how good it was and how the movie had nothing else like it in it.

It seems clear that Brad Pitt's character was remembering the Bruce Lee story with rose tinted glasses, and this may not have been the way the fight actually went down.

Maybe the whole movie is him looking at it through rose tinted glasses and in reality he was killed and everyone else was too :ohhh:

Or the movie just sucked.

I understand. That said, the reason why how the last part of the movie was dope is because it was a payoff to everything that set up to that moment. You may not appreciate it, but it's what I really appreciate personally, because of the character and situation build up, the misdirection and the swerve. I wouldn't think the ending wouldn't be at all enjoyable had the whole movie been on that same wave-length. The build-up was both obvious and subtle at the same time and looking back at everything that led to that point just felt right for me.

I hear you. I guess I am used to Quentin's movies having some more action. If anything that should of happen at the 2nd act and then the last act should of had Brad fighting all the girls from the yard.

I saw the movie yesterday, it was entertaining, but it could have been so much better. Al Pacino was completely useless in the film, and Margot’s character was grossly underdeveloped. Pitt and DiCaprio’s characters were underdeveloped too, but I felt that Tarrentino should had focused on them.

You could have really delved into Pitt and Leo’s issues. Both are lonely(at least for most of the film for Leo) and struggling actors. There was a great scene of Leo struggling w/ his alcohol addiction, yet he never conquers that demon and goes back to drinking.

The producer said Pitt killed his wife, but they never really show how that affected him and his career. The death of his wife could explain why Pitt has no romantic interests. I could go on and on, but I wanted more from them, it’s a shame because you could do so much w/ Pitt and Leo’s characters.

Movie was trash and I’m disgusted I helped someone get paid to indulge in white male fantasy for nearly 3 hours.

That Bruce Lee shyt was disgusting and the undertones of that entire ranch scene were cringe as fukk. Definitely some cac, red pill porn. Only redeeming quality of the film was recognizing some of the dope LA spots.

4/10

From having David Carradine star as a Kung Fu master in Kill Bill to making a mockery of Bruce Lee in this. It's Tarantino on his most MAGA shyt.

You really have to be in the know on the Mason murder to really appreciate this movie. I went back to watch Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds this weekend. This is pure pastiche to 1960's Hollywood. You can tell QT has an encyclopedia like brain as it concerns Hollywood.

I think if you understand the details behind the Mason murder and the story of 1960's Hollywood, then you'll like this flick.

is this shyt even gonna recoup? Yikes.

edit: MIB International recouping..... :dead:
It already recouped it’s production costs domestically. They’ve spent a pretty penny promoting it and the international market is going to take it over the top.

It's at 250 worldwide, they pulled it off. 110 mill budget. 79 mill in domestic sales. Crazy. Worldwide saved this shyt from being in the red. Gonna make a decent buck off this shyt.
