They are right.

They are basically betting on themselves.

Game could miss their sales targets and they could end up wishing they made that up front money.

Or it could sell really good out the gate and they can look at gamepass later.

We don’t even know what or if microsoft offered them anything, maybe microsoft doesn’t feel the game is worth throwing a bag at them like they’ve done other games.

Other indie horror games have done really well on the service.

I think this game has a really high budget comparatively and they feel they have a built in fan base due to the popularity of dead space.

Time will tell if they made the right decision.:manny:

There, I fixed the bolded for you.

So you support video games becoming like mobile games then?
No. Y’all just make up dumb shyt.

Gamepass is a place for lots of different styles of games.

Scorn is coming day one. A single player indie horror game without microtransactions. Similar to this game

A plague tale is coming day one. A single player cinematic action game with no microtransactions.

High on life is day one. A single player FPS game without microtransactions.

All of them have found a way for Gamepass to make sense.

Hell mobile style games are the ones that don’t make sense on gamepass cause they are FTP in the first place. You don’t see flappy bird or Fall guys on gamepass….why?

Not one game currently on gamepass follows the mobile game model. Where are you getting your nonsense opinion from? :comeon:

Alot of people think these subscription services are the future of the gaming industry and that its a good thing. The truth is that these services mean most games have to be loaded with micro transactions to be profitable.

Basically people are celebrating a future where the mobile game business model becomes the norm.

e.a. Gamers are dumb cheap fukks.

This is why while i don’t like some stuff they do I also have to equally root for Nintendo because they are helping to keep the traditional distribution model alive.

As long as Valve, Nintendo, and Sony continue to dominate Microsoft in sales the subscription model will continue to stay only on their platform. Hopefully they just keep losing money on it

it's like they're promoting this game by fanning controversy
