J.R. Writer may not be a better artist or song crafter than a lot of 90's rappers but pure spit he's better than most.
I'm not a huge Lupe fan but as a technical lyricist and pure spitter he's better than a ton of 90's acts.

I disagree with Raekwon beating Budden. Budden is eating those pyrex vision geography bars from Raekwon. Buddens diss records are crazy, almost took down Hollow in a battle, in general just a better pure spitter with better wordplay and a guy who thrives at freestyling and in cypher settings.
