How is the burn-in thing an actual factor?

These damn reviewers got me shook.

I burned mine, but it was my fault. I set my security cameras to an open hdmi port and never changed the settings from the default of Bright Room Mode. With my wife working from home now and the cameras being displayed for hours every day for months on end it finally caught up with me. The burn really isn't that bad tbh, but still bugs me occasionally none the less. I had a panny pasma prior to this and it never burned fwiw. I plan on getting my LG fixed at the beginning of next year. Go for it, I personally would not hesitate to buy another OLED despite my ineptitude. It was 100% my fault.

I bought a 65 inch LG C1 in like new condition at Amazon Warehouse for $1,250. It arrived yesterday, and the picture is beautiful! Also, bought an Asurion 3yr warranty for $115.
I was just about to pull the trigger on that, but then went for a like new 55in C2 for 1200. Wanna see how it looks in my living room before I up for the 65. Should be here by Thursday :wow:
