So my shytty govt is suggesting that we’re gonna have to deal with short term blackouts soon :stopitslime: :mjcry:

Should I just leave the tv off at the mains or let it be and have it endure the blackouts?

You're good if you have a high quality surge protector or UPS, which is a good investment anyway.

OLED gang twice over now...65 inch Samsung S95B and 65 inch LG C1

The LG is more for my old lady...so it's in the family room...I paired a polk 5 channel soundbar & receiver with it

That Samsung, now located in my mancave, is special brehs :mjcry:

I need to get a soundbar. Not sure what to go for:patrice:

I'm a fan of the Sonos Beam. The Arc is probably better, but at that price, you could probably consider a surround sound system, unless space is the constraint.
I don't know anything about the terminology, but I keep reading about Atmos.

It's a newer iteration of surround sound that adds height channels as well.

So, where as a normal 5.1/7.1 would solely channel audio around you horizontally, Atmos also does it vertically. So, if a character is supposed to have something flying over their head, the audio would reflect that.

They fix the purposely off color yet?

Unless you absolutely don't have the space or money, you should get a proper receiver and speakers instead of a soundbar, especially since you're looking at Atmos. You're not going to get nearly as good surround that way.
