Im sure she wouldnt want to guide you to a path of struggling to survive, but from her perspective a son with a college degree, not locked up, and frankly still living, is like you won at life already. just think how frightening it must have been to be the mother of a black son born anywhere from the late 70s to early 90s. so many boys i grew up with, from youngins running up to the ice cream truck, to cutting class to sneak to their house in highschool, are gone. deceased or doing 10+ year prison sentences. I was born in 78, age 37. My stepson is 16, and my sons are 15 and 10.

If I had kids any earlier, than 22. How would I be able to get myself straight.

I would put the blame at people born 1965 or earlier....

They lived thru the civil rights era. The crack epidemic. The y2k era, and still most aint doing shyt. 50+ years old. No house, cant retire....

I'm not from a white neighborhood, but I went to a white high school and college. All of my friends at one point were white girls. I can totally understand the allure of , but I was luckily saved by my middle school years wiring my brain to only be sexually attracted to black men.
