Now you are going overboard.

We need to specific policies to address the centuries of oppression and intentional undermining.
She's doing that in the most realistic way possible but unfortunately some nikkas rather shyt go nowhere so long as it's black only.

With this majority conservative Supreme Court and the amount of white people ready to block any legislation labeled specifically for black people, they still made it to where at least the majority of the funds went to black farmers.

Like I said before it seems like some nikkas wouldve preferred that bill die on the "black only" hill and those farmers get nothing.

I bet every last one of those black farmers didn't give a fukk if few of the funds went to non blacks because in the end they still got the majority of it.

That isn't how things have been done in America for several years.

There are no programs designed specifically for white Americans. The GI bill wasn't the "white GI bill". Segregation was branded as "separate but equal" the crime bill wasn't the "white police benefit bill"

These pieces of legislation and policies were written with vague language and names that indicated that they aren't meant to hurt black people. They of course KNEW that the goal was to hurt black people. There's literally a quote from Lee Atwater about this exact thing.

The inverse of that is what is being attempted. By framing policies as benefiting everyone instead of singling out black people, what happens is that the people who have been most hurt by white supremacy (us) benefit from those programs and policies disproportionately and there's plausible deniability.

When you frame your housing subsidy as a tax credit for Americans whose parents and grandparents didn't have access to housing, we benefit disproportionately due to redlining.

When you frame your jobs program for released prisoners who were locked up for drug charges, black men who were the victims of the crime bill and war on drugs benefit disproportionately.

When you frame your policy on education around funding for smaller colleges that have been around for over 70 years, HCBUs disproportionately benefit.

When you allocate funding for child care for people making less than 30k a year, black parents who couldn't access college and higher paying jobs benefit disproportionately.

You have to frame it in a way that allows you to have plausible deniability if anyone claims favoritism towards black people if you're in a conservative state, and if you're in a liberal one you can say "so, and? What's wrong with giving the victims of white supremacy a chance to rebuild their families and contribute more to the economy?" This is how politics is done in this country. When they put out a ___ for [group] program it's usually some surface level shyt that doesn't totally transform a groups fortunes.

it’s not going to happen the way you want it to. deal with it.

i’ve accepted it, and maybe you should, too.

are we not americans? will we not benefit from a platform that addresses the lives of all americans?
