After how AE came out in the 1st Half, he should have pivoted and gave Tatum those minutes in the 2nd Half.

Tatum was 3rd or 4th best player and 2nd leadin scorer when we won gold in Tokyo... But KD really carried that run only USA team I seen that needed that type of carry. When our Olympic GOAT retires we gon look like food for France, Canada, Germany, Serbia

While it still comes down to poor coaching/rotation management, part of the dilemma with Tatum is he's a gifted but not always efficient jack of all trades/master of none type, and the coaches don't have a clue what to do with that.

Leave him in there and he can/will fill up a stat sheet but you're not necessarily gonna prefer him at point over Bron, or as the iso option over KD, or the recipient of screens over Steph, or post-up guy over Embiid, or designated floor spacer over Booker, or even the secondary iso guy over Ant or have back-up big duties over Bam and AD.

He can do all of those subspecialities but apparently not enough to earn Kerr's trust. That he also values White and Holiday's subspecialties as 3&D guys in those remaining spot minutes is very interesting too.
