What I want and what they will do is different. I dont think they gonna amnesty Perk actually. But I really would grab Pau if he was affordable. He can play with back to basket, has a good shot 10-12 ft out, great passer for a big, and has a good relationship with Serge already, and he is a team player.

bro how much do you see pau gasol getting per year?? i cant see the thunder going into tax to sign gasol.

Report: Pau Gasol will have plenty of options as a free agent

8-10 million

If you pay him a lil over 10 thats just a little more than Thunder were paying Perkins

Greg Monroe or Pau Gasol: Signing either of these big men would most likely put the Thunder into luxury tax, but bringing in a 3rd star would be worth the price. Monroe or Gasol would give the Thunder a Center who Westbrook and Durant could trust to carry the scoring load down low. Durant would no longer have to settle for turnaround jumpers from the top of the key. Possessions like these just aren’t reliable in late game situations. This transaction would push current Center Kendrick Perkins to the bench, giving OKC a viable body coming off the bench.

so you wanna go into the luxury tax to sign pau gasol whose best days are clearly behind him. I wouldn't do it. perkins expiring is more valuable in a trade or hell man just keep perk and resign him at a lower rate. gasol just isn't worth it man. now if he takes a discount at 4 to 5 million. then sure sign gasol. but 8 to 10 million. HELL NO

He is a top 10 center I would 17ppg and 9 rebs ..last year he was better than his 12-13 season ...do you know how much damage we could do if we could force a double team down low...

KD for open 3's
Westbrook or Reggie cutting to lane
Ibaka for alley
floor opens so much with a player like that...
He gets more boards than Perkins, shoots a better free throw percentage

@Loose

Who would you target with mid level exception and trade exception?
i'd like to go for CJ miles as well as mike miller for the veteran min. i'm honestly open to anything as long as we get some shooter. we can probably absord a tanking teams bad contact someone like ilysova i think the bucks would be willing to get rid of him.

:patrice: Who do you guys like in this draft? I don't see a guy I really hope we get like I did last year with Adams.

Also some names of free agents that interest me for different reasons.

Chris Kamen - He can post up & score every now & then.
Anthony Morrow - Shooter.
CJ Miles - Decent defender & shooter.
Mike Miller - Shooter, plus it keeps him from killing us everytime.
Brandon Rush - Career 41% 3pt shooter. Don't know about his knee though.
PJ Tucker - Good tough defender & can hit the 3.
Jodie Meeks - Shooter.
Steve Blake - Need a backup PG if Reggie starts with Russy, shooter, & a vet.
Paul Pierce - Could be a great 6th man pickup that can still score, shooter, & a vet.
Al Harrington - Stretch 4 & a vet.
Jan Vesely - A gamble pickup like Hash that maybe something comes of.
MarShon Brooks - A gamble pick up like Hash. He can score.
Jimmer Freddette - Shooter.
Ben Gordon - Shooter.
Rodney Stuckey - He can score off the bench.

Definitely need shooting. Morrow, Miles or Miller would be straight imo. Regarding the draft, I have no clue who will be available...but i'm sure there's some sort of value to be had this year.

Mike Miller makes sense. CJ Miles is a streaky chucker; Ben Gordon is another chucker; Kaman is too injury prone; Pierce prob signs with the Clips; Harrington is another chucker; Tucker is a good fit.

miles shot 40% the last 2 years... i'd take a chucker who shoots 40 percent.

agree with the rest.
