:patrice: Who do you guys like in this draft? I don't see a guy I really hope we get like I did last year with Adams.

Also some names of free agents that interest me for different reasons.

Chris Kamen - He can post up & score every now & then.
Anthony Morrow - Shooter.
CJ Miles - Decent defender & shooter.
Mike Miller - Shooter, plus it keeps him from killing us everytime.
Brandon Rush - Career 41% 3pt shooter. Don't know about his knee though.
PJ Tucker - Good tough defender & can hit the 3.
Jodie Meeks - Shooter.
Steve Blake - Need a backup PG if Reggie starts with Russy, shooter, & a vet.
Paul Pierce - Could be a great 6th man pickup that can still score, shooter, & a vet.
Al Harrington - Stretch 4 & a vet.
Jan Vesely - A gamble pickup like Hash that maybe something comes of.
MarShon Brooks - A gamble pick up like Hash. He can score.
Jimmer Freddette - Shooter.
Ben Gordon - Shooter.
Rodney Stuckey - He can score off the bench.

look at this link and look at the 14-15 season. team payroll is at 69 million. now if you amnesty perks 9.5 milion. that leaves u at around 59 million. but guess what, the salary cap is 63 million. luxury tax is 77 million. so unless you make trades. you arent signing any major free agents. actually team payroll will be higher than 59 million when you sign your two first rounders. you should have amnestied perkins a year or 2 ago especially when it was time to resign beard. makes no sense to do it now.

What about Kevin Martins 6.5 trade exception?

and I dont think OKC cares about salary cap ... now luxury tax maybe so

77 mil luxury tax
70 mil Thunder roster

leaves you with 7 mil left
amnesty Perk free up 9.5 more gives you a total of
16.5 mil to use, not counting the trade exception that you could play with

lol @ thunder fans thanking god fisher is gone. he was the only reliable shooter on your squad outside of durant, westbrook, and ibaka. when spurs bench outscored your bench 50 to 5 guess who those 5 points came from?

team needs derek fisher more than those other scrubs.

right but they dont have any financial flexibility to sign any key free agents. whats the most they can sign a free agent for?? im guessing 5- 6 million at the most .

Im getting around 16.5 mil they can play with with Perk gone and Luxury cap .. maybe around 10 on a big and the rest for fill ins ..Thunder will use one of those 1st rounders for international player as usual and just keep him over there

break it down for me. how are u getting 16 million?/ they have 69 million in commited salary for 14-15. if you take away perks 9 million. thats about 59 million. salary cap is at 63 million. amnestying perk does nothing to free up money for a free agent. if anything you have to trade perks expiring plus that kmart trade exception

Nobody else on the bench played any kind of real minutes in that game, Brooks pretty much set everyone except the starters & Fisher.

Salary cap no ,but luxury tax is at 77 mil so 77 lux tax minus 59(Thunder salary including Perk amnesty) gives you close to about 17 ...Thunder have already said last year that reason they didnt go over luxury was because of repeater tax

so you see them going over the luxury tax??? what free agent do you see them signing that is worth going over the tax for?

What I want and what they will do is different. I dont think they gonna amnesty Perk actually. But I really would grab Pau if he was affordable. He can play with back to basket, has a good shot 10-12 ft out, great passer for a big, and has a good relationship with Serge already, and he is a team player.
