i guess i'm the only one who still just aimlessly scrolls around Netflix and bails all the time? I don't think any of these things have figured out a good interface yet.

1. Netflix - I don't even get my money's worth myself, but other people use my log-in. I find most of their shyt to be hyped way too high b/c of the instant gratification of the rollout. You pound through an entire season of a show in one day and it basically bumps your overall score by 2 by default. I watch maybe 4-5 things on Netflix a year that really stick with me, and just shrug off everything else. Every big budget original Netflix movie is meh at best. They still don't know how to produce true quality movies unless it's a prestige director... and even then? ehhhhhhh
2. Prime - I like their best shows better than Netflix's and I find some weird movies every now and then. The fact it comes with the Amazon shipping makes all its faults acceptable.
3. Disney+ - get it free with Verizon or else I wouldn't have it. I've watched Mando and maybe 8 movies in a year, but I look forward to the future.
4. HBO - i managed to sign in with my parents' HBO info, go through the entire library and make a watchlist... and then my password never worked again. There wasn't much outside of actual HBO content that blew me away. All their original movies so far look like shyt, and they haven't really announced many future projects that get me excited.

I don't have Hulu but i'll probably get the Disney package as soon as my Disney trial runs out. I've used a few free week trials in the past and found plenty to watch, but even that interface sucked to me.

shyt, i'm like a 10 year old b/c i watch random youtube way more than any of these.

1. HBO Max
2. Hulu
3. Netflix
4. Prime
5. Disney+

HBO Max is literally a UI upgrade and 4K/HDR addition away from being the undisputed champ for me. The HBO Originals keep me fed all the way through, and not just for 1-4 episodes like a Netflix show nowadays. The addition of Warner's library, Criterion selections, and Max Originals have kept me entertained. Had COVID not exist, we most likely would have gotten a new season of Succession...which would've been even more icing on the cake.

I also don't think HBO sorely lives off the legacy shows like previously mentioned. I think they've just set a standard since then and lived by it because the movie-like quality of their shows have been a trend for some time now. Hence, their slogan. You see they have no problems sweeping Emmys yearly. They got a TLOU adaptation and Gilded Age series on the way that I think will be big time hits.

I will say Hulu climbed the ranks greatly with the addition of FX. FX is the closest to HBO's programming IMO. They're going to keep popping out more gems along the way and based off what I heard at the Disney investor conference the other night....buckle up. The Great, Little Fires Everywhere, Normal People are all good Hulu originals. The catalog has progressed and Handmaid's Tale isn't the only big name anymore.

Said it in another thread but Netflix easily has the GOAT UI and will be plenty of folks' #1 just off the fact they've built themselves into a household name. They will always eat. I admire how its diversive programming can cater to just about everyone. Queen's Gambit is probably the most fun I've had with a Netflix Original in a long time. Me personally, I mainly use it for film watching or if one of Scorsese, Kaufman, and other big name directors drop an exclusive gem. They have a lot to offer and I need to feast on the foreign shows.

Disney+.....eh, last on the list for a reason. They've scored big with The Mandalorian, but other than that, what else are they offering to cater to my 24 year old self on a regular basis right now? This would most likely be in my top 3 if I was 12, but those days are long gone and the nostalgia grab only works for so long. I see they got a fukk ton of content on the way though which is good.

Queens Gambit literally saved me from bushing Netflix honestly.

can't escape the ads on tv which sucks. i just watch a bunch of concerts and movie talk shows and... tiny house tours for some reason (you know!) and shyt. truth is, my attention span is basically dead, so as you said it's much better background stuff. that's basically how i watch sports, with my face bured in the laptop or phone anyway.

HBO MAX has the best content and a poor interface. 4K/HDR is coming with WW84 and everything after that

Netflix fell off somewhat. They keep cancelling shows that I like. No season 3 for Mindhunter smh

Disney+ will be good once some of these shows start coming out

I have Amazon Prime but I haven't really checked it out

I co sign a lot of the opinions here:

Netflix is the most intuitive and easiest to use. Very little glitches as well.

Disney + is next best in terms of easy to navigate and presenting the content you came there for and very little glitching.

Prime has a lot of good content but prime seems to be more focused on presenting stuff that isn’t on prime or you have to rent for some reason :stopitslime::heh: Works fine though.

Hbo Max is the worst IMO. Good content but not intuitive at all and still seems like hbo go than having a huge Warner library of content. Still has issues loading and crashing and it’s the most expensive :heh:

Hulu for me seems like a cross between prime and Disney + , great and meh at the same time. Has become better at finding stuff.

1. Netflix for quality of interface and amount of content
2. HBO Max for quality of Shows
3. Amazon Prime because it comes bundled with free delivery, content is so so, interface is horrible.

Every other service can fukk off, I'm not interested:unimpressed:
