I don't think they are bringing in any legends or current superstars who didn't make the final cut as DLC this year. I think all 2K is focusing on is 2k original content.
They still deserve an "L" b/c no new match types, lazy character models, no cut back on creation suite, etc and most of the stuff makes the game outdated.

Like they have The Fiend in and Bayley’s new look but no 24/7 title
No War Games match, Inferno match, RAW/SD arenas are outdated now.
WWE is always changing storylines/characters its never gonna be up to date. Almost unrealistic to expect that

I'm more concerned with stuff like hit detection being off this year, because that is something that they did really well last year. Some of the models are actually improved from last year (Lashley and McIntyre come to mind), but the lighting might make some of them look off.
Honestly, I'm still getting it, as it is something of a tradition of mine (yes, I know that I'm part of the problem), but I'm nowhere near as excited for this one.
