People thought Clark would dominate off the rip and now that their bubble has burst, everybody coppin pleas. Like Clark is the ONLY rookie playing.
Nobody ever complained before because the demand/excessive cost of tickets wasn't a factor......You think it was smart to have an Indy/Vegas game in front of 19k where the ticket prices were over $100 where one team had 4 days of rest and the other was playing their 3rd game in 4 nights?
As for Clark being the only rookie playing. Yes she's the only rookie that has played 7 gms

The mercury are one of the best teams in the league. How is that an 'easy" schedule? They played 2 easy games and 2 hard games. And next game is against the Lynx. We played the Wings, Aces twice, Dream and garbage ass Mystics. We have played 5 games in 12 days. you aren't complaining for us!! Once again, every team plays 40 games and they play teams in their conference more than teams not in their conference. We've got to see the Aces and Wings 8 times this season just as the Fever has to see the Liberty and Sun 8 times. I think it's better they get it out the way instead of late in the season when they are tired and after the olympic break. You forget, the top players are going to the olympics so they don't get a break.

Indy was gonna get cooked regardless. They play 10 minute quarters, so it's not like Clark is having to adjust to the game length. This is professional basketball so she doesn't have to worry about classes or studying.
Again, you're making excuses. Nobody told people to to overpay for an overhyped player.

3 of our 5 games (60%) were against the top 4 teams from last season. Either way she was going to see the Liberty and Sun 8 times and the Aces 3 times. Do you suggest they save those 11 games for the last month of the season? It's only 40 games. That's over 25% of the season against those 3

they didn't skip the preseason, they traveled and played a game. Traveling was the worst part of the wnba until May 21. And Preseason is ONLY 2 games. The only reason the schedule is like this is because of the Olympics. All the teams are gonna go through a similar week like the Fever. The Mercury are next, they have 4 games this week. Two games back to back in different cities
So you're comparing a rookie to a 7th year pro?...Clark was playing her 3rd gm in 4 nights while Plum had 4 days of rest......Clark doesn't have the luxury of playing with...

they will get their break too.
It's funny the same people making excuses are the same people discrediting Bill Russel's rings because there were less than 20 teams. Well, they were playing up to 5 games a week back then in a condensed season, fukked up travel, going to segregated cities and not being able to eat and stay in certain places, while playing a HOF/all star every night. Some of the celtics, like KC Jones and John Thompson, didn't get in because of their NBA play. They were champions as coaches in the league and college. So the WNBA now is like the NBA of that era in terms of competition you're facing every night. Don't worry, it will get better for clark with the new expansion teams. She will get nights off to shoot her 12-14 threes per game.
