People forget the fact that Mitchell and Boston were all stars last year. Boston was also ROY. Reese walked into a team that was blown up and in rebuild mode.
And something most people don’t realize is most rookies coming into the WNBA don’t get a lot of minutes outside the top 2 picks. People can’t name the 5th pick or the top 10 off the top of their heads.
Chicago is starting 2 rookies.
Earlier in the season, everyone called Indiana trash. But ever since Boston and Mitchell stepped up, they’ve been winning.
