Thought this was a very weak opener. One of the biggest issues with these mystery/twist driven shows is that the creators keep trying to replicate it (partly because audiences have come to accept it) and thus put themselves through unnecessary twists and hoops to tell a story. That's what really hurt season 2 and I figure can hurt this season as well.
But more importantly nothing interesting happened at all. Even as far as setting the first plotlines up this ep was just meandering.

No clue WTF is going on, who my girl Tessa really is got me...If Dolores put William or Ford in her...
At first I was skeptical of taking the series out of the west and into a futuristic city setting but they handled that well IMO. This isn't a low budget mess like Altered Carbon 2, the visuals here are definitely on point and cohesive...

We'll see how easy it is to follow the story this season. From the premier it looks like they're still running with the multiple storyline approach, I don't know if I can take that AND them throwing in flashbacks like last season.
