I can see this probably being a limited series, but it’s got so much potential to go further than one season

I really hope it's not a one and done.

The reason for no second season for Watchmen was because Damon Lindelof said he told the story he wanted to tell and didn't want to continue as showrunner and HBO didn't want to do another season without him.

Maybe he'll find another story he wants to tell within that world.

As the ending of season 1 was dope.

If you notice the last few shows David Simon has been involved in except Treme have been 6 episodes no way they'd ever realistically fund multiple seasons.

The Deuce was 3 seasons and had 25 episodes.

I have never heard of the real story and I am going to keep that way.

Show is pretty good.
I know Wire fans got excited when they saw Wire actors in bit roles.
The main guy got the Baltimore accent down.
