Some great actors in this, in

Jon bernthal >

I like him in this so far. Most other roles he gets on my nerves by doing too much lol. Especially when he plays military roles, the emotions seem so forced lol. When he’s just acting as a regular person he does really well.

It was cool. I think he needs more time to develop his stories though because I was deadass exhausted.

Can’t shake the feeling David Simon is a Fox News paragon either. If you think the mayor is in her office correcting people who say riot instead of uprising:mjlol:. That and the whole thing where the cops took handcuffs off a man and walked away because they saw too many cameras.. like come on my g :russ:. The issue is you breaking nikkas spines not some make believe bottle smashing shyt.

I’ll watch still though, wanna see how that Lannister FBI shyt plays out.

Also Poot is such a bad fukking actor. Even back in the day he was lol.

1st episode was just ok to me

I dont like how they're jumping around in the story

one scene be in 2017 and the next in 2015 but I guess thats how they're gonna squeeze it all into 6 episodes

I still feel like HBO dropped the ball making this a miniseries

shouldve made it a regular show and told the whole story from begining to end

they easily couldve did 5-6 seasons

David Simon shows don't make bank for HBO but their good for critical acclaim.

Remember The Wire technically got canceled after season 3

Simon, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, said that “The Wire was canceled after season three, and The Wire was nearly canceled again—I had to grovel and beg and plead—after season four.” Despite the difficult journey getting five seasons of The Wire made, Simon praises HBO for allowing him to finish his story without too much interference, stating that the network was “very liberal in terms of allowing the people involved in the production of these shows to find their own vision and try to execute.

If you notice the last few shows David Simon has been involved in except Treme have been 6 episodes no way they'd ever realistically fund multiple seasons.

Sadly the audience for non-Law and Order style procedurals is small.

These David Simon police shows tend to be denser and slower, with no good guy getting the criminal happy endings, they have an audience but it's relatively small.
