I never read the comics, thought the movie was pretty good but the show is piff. I don't know much about the comics so it might make the show better.
Fam.....His chapter in the watchmen is one of the greatest things ever written in any medium.
That scene was beautiful
Show is great. I'm glad they showed what a fukk up Silk truly is. She thinks she's funny as shyt and a know it all... she ended up looking like a fool and Regina was shown to be more intelligent and cunning
What does that say about "Batman", though? She made him look pathetic.
Anyone have any ideas on who "The Game warden" is? I don't think it's Dr. Manhattan, since Dr. Manhattan would not be impressed by tomato trees.
Simply based on the references to government conspiracies, I think someone in the government has him creating the squid storms.
Could it be the senator or someone connected to him?
One possibility is that the senator and police chief were working together secretly to trick idiots into forming the 7th Kavalry. The goal is to create an army of secret police to crush them, then go on to use the police force to take over every city. Sister Night's grandfather and the team he's working with figure it out and kill the police chief in order to indirectly force Sister Night into being the one who takes the senator down.Where does Pop-Pop fit into your narrative?

I think the grandfather isn’t really her grandfather. .

She was born in Vietnam. Is the Asian lady her cousin? He's her grandfather bro. There are plenty of things to question and read into, but this isn't one of them. From a writing perspective, you wouldn't do that reveal only to make it invalid later. It would be different if he was revealed as her grandfather from jump, but they spent a whole episode building up to that moment. Now all what's left is to figure out what him being her grandfather means, what his motive, etc. But he's definitely related to her.

Great episode. Love how bitter Spectre has become.
Shout outs to @Tetsuo for putting me on to the novel a long time ago.
Yup. I just rewatched my directors cut movie today and it just makes the show feel that much iller and that movie is VERY under appreciated. The popular theory is that Veidt is in a prison Dr. Manhattan designed for him and he’s trying to outsmart it. The Game Warden is like an embodiment of the rules in whatever dimension Veidt is in currently.
I think people are looking too deeply into "the game warden". It's likely just one of the multiple clones (the one that prevented him from skinning the buffalo) Veidt engineered and probably gave the directive to watch over him/his actions. Veidt's "exile" seems more self-imposed than anything else.
in this episode there were multiple clues towards genetic engineering (besides them being clones). he told one of the clones "you are not capable of feeling doubt, but i appreciate the sentiment", and then after that one froze to death in that experiment he told the other one "we will need a thicker skin", and immediately after he went hunting for a buffalo's hide.
this suggests he can add/remove traits to his clones at will. it would not be far-fetched he would have created one with the sole purpose of existing as some sort of guard/warden that watches over his actions, as a reminder or as to not allow him to break his exile.
