So I doubt Manhattan built that phone booth or cared for enough to leave a way to reach him. So someone is using his image as a confessional basically.


Based on Laurie's joke, all of the her group are in “prison” . Veidt isn’t on Mars but a jail he made himself to test himself for some reason. Manhattan is in is own exile. Nite-Owl chose prison. So she’s going to be the only one to outsmart her judgment?

And that casual mention of Russia making Manhattan’s device like a new space race.

I think the grandfather isn’t really her grandfather. I think he’s some rich guy going around stirring up shyt. Idk if he is funding the Tulsa reparations project or he has the capability to infiltrate the system, but if he can create a psych profile on an FBI agent, he’s definitely not meant to be fukked with.

And I’m positive she has told that joke a million times before. They knew she would be triggered when she saw the phone booth. They obviously had the SUV. And knew she would think the SUV came from mars because of the yellow/orange glow because she’s a fukking maniac.

This show had my curiosity. Now it has my attention.


I love the way they're leaning into Watchmen lore on it. Laurie showing hallmarks of her father (the joke), husband (the call to Mars) and boyfriend (Who The Owl)

Bob Barker might be on that too.

A potential Sister Night/Silk Spectre team up . They even started off with the old superhero double act trope of mistrust,

The car at the end being some sort of parallel for the brick that got tossed into the sky

i'm watching this show with all these characters, all this intrigue, and all i keep thinkin about is, "who is that Yaya dude?" dude's about to be an A-list actor and he's playing a bit role as a supportive husband. not saying he's gonna be a huge comic character like Manhattan in disguise or anything, but there's no way they cast him for the role he's currently in. i think he becomes a big character in this show.

Now I’m thinking they aren’t just making a Dr Manhattan but a new Minutemen. Instead of untrained randoms in costume but people specially picked.

Ozy might be in the Manhattan role in this story. Put out of the way so he doesn’t ruin things.
