I really enjoyed it but, as I said in the other thread, I feel like they might’ve set themselves up for failure due to how ambitious they get with the themes. I won’t go into details since you haven’t watched yet but they have a very ballsy and intriguing premise that will take genius level writing for them to successfully execute without it coming across as cheap and exploitive. Not sure if Lindelof can pull it off but we’ll see.

I think Chief Judd(Don Johnson) was the son of the man who played a major role in the riots.

Yeah I feel like the movie had the same grandiose ambitions that it unfortunately could not live up too. (Imo)

At least in Tulsa, blacks that have received Redfordrations are likely to be upper class and there are probably many white people that are in impoverished neighborhoods. It's a flip of the real world where rich white people adopt black kids.
