This had more than enough to intrigue me off one episode. They seem very confident in the parameters of the world they've built and I like the ways in which they've followed on from the book. The squid showers were an interesting homage to the ending of the comic. It also means that they threw Snyder's movie in the bushes and drew strictly from the books in terms of the history. I'm genuinely glad that he didn't get to do the show.

The Watchmen movie is all you really need. It was a..... somewhat faithful adaptation of the book.
The rest of the books you've prolly seen don't matter.
Newest book (Doomsday Clock) don't matter either

It does, in that the characters in it are referenced by the movie. But Snyder changed the ending to the book - which involved a giant squid rather than a faked Dr. Manhattan attack. That now appears to be non-canon, as there would be no reason to have squid showers otherwise.

Sounds like the same dumb shyt nikkas said about Legion and it took all fukking season for them to explain even partially of the shyt.
nobody needs anyone to hold their fukking hand but this mysterious bullshyt got to go. Have a fukking plot instead of a bunch of weird shyt going on only to be half assed explained 8 episodes in.
