I got multiple problems with this viewpoint but obviously you're just gonna complain regardless of what anyone says so carry on breh. I'll see you here Sunday

The episode was great. The whole point is Will Reeves has a lot of repressed anger, pain and hurt from seeing his family and entire world burned up because of the color of his skin. Those types of trauma manifest itself in a variety of different ways. He joints the police force thinking he can undo the wrong and fiat have some justice for what happened to his people but is met with even more contempt and hatred from his fellow officers who are suppose to be his “brothers in arms”. He meets Captain Metropolis who promises him the companionship he thought he needed to help fight the racist system and also he can finally express the apparent homosexuality he was hiding as a result of the massacre of his family and Metropolis took advantage of Will both as a hero ( the way he propped him at the press conference and talked about some bullshyt Moloch solar weapon when Will was talking about the real problem, the mind control cameras from the racist) and as a young man confuses about his sexuality. He just used him a sex toy that’s it. The point of that quick scene is just show how Will no matter what he did was never fully accepted. And for those stuck on the gay sex, once Will saw his son try to imitate him, he quickly tried to end the cycle that created him. He doesn’t like the path he has walked. He hates who he has become and wants his son to be on a different path. Which work since we have Regina King character....

I agree and get it. Still think it could have been executed better imo. It probably is some fukked up mental repression shyt from all the trauma that made him "take it out" (no pun intended) on Metro. And for Metro to still screw him over, just like cacs always do, definitely had to piss Will off even more.

I think the clock being built is a huge device similar to the device Will has that will make some group do some shyt that will fukk things up. Question is which group? The 7C? All wypipo? Or is it a device to free Ozy???

I find it interesting how wildly upset people are that Hooded Justice was really a gay black man without even realizing that this episode was actually CONDEMNING him for being a gay black man. There's a point to and a reference of it being shown as a negative to not only live a double life as a crime fighter, but as a lover. This was why after he realized that white devil, Mr. Metropolis, was only using him for sexual pleasure is why he realized at his son wanting to be like him and why his wife blamed him for being that influence and left his ass. It wasn't suppose to be promoted as a GOOD THING of the fact he was gay.

Hollywood keeps pushing the narrative that everyone's gay, yet there are no gay lead characters on any noteworthy blockbuster shows or movies. I'm still waiting to find out what this "gay agenda" is, btw. You mean their desire to have people like themselves represented in entertainment? That's literally every damn minority groups desire. Every group, outside of straight white males has an agenda by this flimsy logic. Gay people exist, and they sure as hell didn't start existing yesterday or this decade. The sooner y'all get over it, the fewer gray hairs you'll accumulate being furious over such silly, inconsequential shyt.

The post I was responding too was saying HJ was a hero and positive figure. None of the characters you named are celebrated as positive figures. They are all scumbags and nobody pretends otherwise.

To you other point . There is nothing to get over. You may enjoy watching gay sex and gay soft porn. I don't. End of story. Obviously they make it for people like you who enjoy watching gay sex.

And with regards to the agenda, gays are already extremely overrepresented in Hollywood and about 10% of characters. And glaad just said their goal is make it 20% in the next few years. I'm sure you cant wait but I will be tuning out.

Trauma can alter people's sexuality and behavior. Will lost his whole family and was probably searching for a father figure the rest of his life. Also wonder when you all will realize that just like "The Boys" most of the minutemen in the watchmen were not good people and most of them were borderline insane or completely insane.
