I do want it spelled out for me, because I have never seen it in the graphic novel despite reading it multiple times in the last few decades.
I don't know how you can expect to convince anyone of anything if you refuse to provide the concrete evidence that apparently only you possess.
Also, I don't care about Rorschach; he's not depicted as a Black hero on the HBO show, and has nothing to do with this conversation.
Anyway, my previous offer still stands. If you can find solid proof (not speculation, & not some fill-in-the-blanks bullshyt) in the original graphic novel that Hooded Justice is gay, then I will cashapp you. Prove me wrong, and make some easy money.

I liked it even though i usually can't stand flashback/origin episodes in tv shows
Loved the visuals that felt like a old movie especially with the music (my jam from fallout games was in this :
happy with them giving us more and more explanation finally each episode now knowing that we are heading to an end sadly
by that said that gay scene was absolutely unnecessary( for a show i consider being so subtle doing shock value is simply weak) and didnt add anything to the plot
Also i think one of the characters will be Dr. Manhattan when they delivered teasers before this came out they shown him wearing a mask remember? Possibly Cal as he is front and center in promoting the show with the others despite not doing anything important on the actual show....

If HJ was as open and unapologetic about it as Omar was, it wouldn't be as big a deal. It's the randomness of it that was most off-putting about itI'll admit being disapointed by it as well, but it didn't derail the show for me.
