I've never seen officiating that one-sided ever in a game. The way we were steamrolling them was horrible optics for the brand of Baylor basketball (which is at it's peak), and a phone call was made. Sports is a business at the end of the day. Glad we pulled through. I definitely thought we were gonna lose when the game went into OT.

Game is effectively over with Manek playing. Glad he didn't have to go out on a flagrant 2 tho. We live to fight another day.

That shyt was crazy I’m not used to the refs being flat out against us
they let us live in OT and the the superior team showed itself again
I think the bench has been developed fine. They just beat a #1 seed with Styles and Mc Coy playing meaningful minutes in the biggest game of the season. They show up on defense and offense. Hubert and his staff are doing an amazing job.

We got any good recruits coming in? Transfer market? Is Dawson coming back or is he gone for good?

I dont think Mando's stock could get any higher, so I see him and Love declaring for the draft. RJ will have an all American type season next year and may be a strong candidate to lead the conference in scoring. With his performance last year, a lot of people "forgot" how Kerwin was the lowest ranked recruit in the class, but it was glaring this year that his athleticism just might not be on par for a championship level program. If he wants to play, I can see him transferring. However, if he wants to continue to be developed, he'd stay and be a huge plus for the practice squad and be a spot reserve. If Leaky decides to come back, there's a potential log jam at the wing position with him, Puff, and Styles all earning minutes. With Love potentially declaring, I can see Dunn moving to the starting 2 guard spot if he develops more over the summer with his ball handling. I'm sure Hubert will hit the portal heavy to get a couple bigs with Mando and Manek both potentially gone.
As far as recruits, I don't see any day 1 starters. However, Will Shavers has gotten valuable experience by enrolling early and being the only big/stretch 4 on the practice squad going up against Mando and Manek everyday. I expect him to contribute a lot next year. Tyler Nickle is a certified bucket and his mentality is all dog, so he'll add value to the 4 spot, but his athleticism has to develop before I can see him being a big contributor next year. Jalen Washington is very skilled, but coming off his 2nd knee surgery, so I totally expect next year to be a developmental/strength and conditioning season for him. Now, Seth Trimble has "superstar" written all over him. He's really strong and plays strong. High school kids seem to bounce off of him while he drives, so if that can translate out the gate, he'll see big minutes. Seeing how Hubert's offense allows for his players to play in space and get 1 on 1 matchups, he'll thrive and be such a highlight reel in his career with his athleticism. Plus, he has potential to be a dog on defense.
The following year Simeon Wilcher is coming in and is a straight stud and the crystal balls are leaning heavy for GG Jackson to join him. It's safe to say that Hubert will have extremely talented teams for years to come.

The season turned around after I changed the thread title. I did the same thing on 
back in 2011 and turned the season around then too. Sure, it had nothing to do with me. Don't mean I won't take credit though

Props to Hubert though for real he really got these boys locked in and playing real basketball.
Hard to get past not winning that game Monday night whether we overachieved to get there or not. Would be amazing if everyone came back for one more run but don't see it happening.
Hubert has proved me wrong though and I have complete confidence in him leading the Heels to a title very soon.

Kansas played like a classic Roy team. Run, run, run. Only going 6 deep and Love and Bacot having bum ankles, is what did it. The team was gassed man.
Yep. And even though Puff gave us valuable mins, the quick whistles on Leaky in the second half didn't help either. If they would've called it the same way on buddy that was hacking RJ all game, they would've felt confetti that night.
