I do t think most unc fans realized again how difficult it is to replace a HOF head coach. The former player as a head coach model isn’t working out that well this season with any school. And unc next coach should maybe be some new blood from outside

Being so dead set on hiring someone from the UNC family will be the death of UNC bball.

Like I said before, I don't fully blame HD. Although that nikka don't make any type of adjustments. But this is the same team that made Roy quit. They're bad as a team. We've been trash for 3 years now.

Hell, let's go back even further. Could Kansas have afforded to keep Roy Williams after his 19-12 season his first year as a head coach. Now obviously things are much different nowadays with media and player choice, but my point still stands. You need to give a coach time to build.

And people calling for Wes Miller is funny. I like the guy as well, but he doesn't have head coaching experience at a Blue Blood either. We're in a microwave generation where people expect immediate results. But maybe it's always been that way.

Also, I vividly remember people calling for Roy's head multiple time throughout his tenure at UNC (including myself). People are reactionary.

Hubert will get a 2nd year for optics but I'd fire him tonight and just get on w/ it.
We are shyt in the worst ACC in my life and this team looks unmotivated and unprepared at every turn.

They couldnt even do us the decency of doing an actual coaching search for a job people dream of. They just gave it to him w/ no qualifications

Winning 20 games with one of the easiest schedules UNC has ever played. 11-16 Pittsburgh just walked into Chapel Hill and dominated. Team is soft and unwatchable. Damn shame where UNC basketball is these days.

Everybody knew it was gonna be Hubert. Every coach they looked at had no qualifications to be coach at UNC. That's the problem with having this illusion that you have to hire someone from UNC.

It's not going to get better next year either

I said I’m about ready too. Not that I am. This team sucks. We’re a bad team, our players don’t deserve the stars they got in HS, and we’re thin in our front court depth. The coach make adjustments late if at all and makes questionable decisions. He’s getting one more year. But as of now I think that third year is on ice.

I couldn't finish the game last night. I'm hoping year 3 or 4 we'll be title contenders. I'm trying to give HD the benefit of doubt but that was embarrassing last night. I remember Roy losing to CoC and Wofford
