We looking like shyt but I don’t blame HD fully. It’s been less than a year and we’ve been mediocre to trash for the past three years. I’m giving Mack two more years. Those recruiting classes have to grow. It’s much harder for Freshmen to lead programs. Back to basketball, our good to great teams have always been lead by strong point guards and big men. This year we have a great big man, but we don’t have enough and we don’t have a point guard.
On to the players, Love is not it. He’s entirely to inconsistent. RJ Davis is cool, but for his size he plays to much like a 2 Guard. Garcia can’t defend to save his life. He’d honestly be better off just standing straight up in the paint instead of trying to go body to body with someone. And Leaky is the most disappointing player I have ever seen.
I’ll never stop being a Carolina fan. It’s in my blood, and right now I’m still hopeful. I have to be. I’ll let HD get his own recruiting class in before I truly pass judgement.

IDK what happened to Walton. I thought he'd make that leap this year. Kid has lost all confidence. He was the best freshmen on the team last year. Need a true pg. In jeopardy of missing the tournament.

Kerwin lacks agility and quickness. He needs a real point guard and offense to set him up. Manek is ass gas on defense but his offense has almost made up for it for me. Garcia on the other hand is a different story. He’s the tallest guy on the team, I don’t even need bruh to jump. Just put your hands straight up. It’d be better than what he’s doing now.

We’re really missing Kessler. The wild thing is, he’s at Auburn doing the same shyt he was doing here. Not shooting threes. But at least he’s actually on a good team. Although if we had him, we’d be in a better position.

Hubert is fine and the team is fine. It's literally his first 17 games as a coach. Hubert navigating coaching a team that largely disappointed last year with these same players, the transfer portal, not even having a chance to recruit HIS players for HIS system, and the job of filling Roy's shoes. It's a lot and it's actually quite embarrassing to see how fickle some of the fanbase is being with him. Dook is ranked and got the #1 player in the draft on their team and got the same number of Ls in the conference. Sure, you can look at "how" the team has lost, which is fair....but look at how they've also look when they win. Some of the best looking ball since Coby and Cam left. The team may peak late, but they wouldn't be the first team ever to hit their stride right before tourney time. 17 games is a very short window to give the team to be talking about slamming it short.
