Is HW the worst right now? Cain is a big question mark right now. Who knows if he is as dominant with all these joint injuries. Then Werdum, JDS, Browne, Stipe, Hunt. Nice mix there. Plus you got guys on the rise like Mitrione and Magomedov. HW is actually better then it was a year ago

HW is pretty bad. Cain, Werdum, & JDS are very good fighters. Stipe is good too. I'm on the fence on Browne & Hunt. The rest is too inconsistent or just not that good.

Edit: Magomedov?

Bullshyt. Their are probably 6-7 guys in the top ten who can hold that belt. LHW is ass. No one is beating Jones. And the talent gap between Gus(whos probably #4 right now) and Bader/Davis is the widest of any division besides BW

6-7 guys who aren't too good or entertaining to watch

Machida Vitor, Weidman, and Silva are the only guys in the middleweight division, and 3 of them are old

The funny thing is, MW is arguably the most interesting division in the UFC right now.

nope its light weight, middleweight is trash,

we getting another anticipated light heavyweight with Jones and Rumble, and we just had jones and cormier

we till got matchs up such as cormier and Rashad, or cormier or and gus

jacare isn't sniffing the belt and he's always been boring to watch

rockhold is a step above bisping until further notice

Romero isnt fun to watch? Or Rockholod?Jacere? I think Romero is low key the most dangerous threat to Weidman

Ok after jones/rumble then what? Rashid hasn't fought in over a year and is probably retired. Hes not in any hurry to fight. Match up Gus/DC and not only are you eliminating an opponent for a long time but the winner also wont do business. I dont care for jones/DC II. Gus/Jones will be interesting but the steam is off now. This division will only pop if Rumble wins. But I dont see that happening. And like I said. The lower half of the division cant even see the top 4. Davis, Nader, OSP, Glover might as well be cans

Other than the Carmont fight (which wasn't even that bad), when was Jacare in a boring fight?

Edit: Magomedov?

Browne and Hunt are lower tier but they showed they are competitive with the top (well at least Hunt) Im interested to see how Browne turns out now that hes left jackson and is at Glendale. His boxing should get better because Werdum exposed the shyt out of him ( IDK what striking they teach at Jackson. It seems no one there can throw a combo outside Condit) And what is Barnett doing? Hes old as fukk but still solid. The HW division is better the LHW top ten wise but not by much

If Romero improves his cardio, a fight with Weidman would be interesting.

True. Bit Weidamn has suspect cardio so it wont be a huge disadvantage. Im more worried about his consistency and chin. He got rocked by Brunson and Kennedy. Weidman will KO him if a clean shot lands. But Weidman wont out wrestle him at all. And hes nore athletic with his striking and movement. It will be an interesting fight if it ever happened

I agree with you guys that the top 5 is leaps and bounds above the bottom 5... but I do think Phil Davis is young and skilled enough to eventually bridge that gap.
I don't see Bader getting better and being a contender, but I do see Davis, eventually.

I also think DC at least has the potential to beat Jones. So a Jones/DC II at some point would be okay with me... as long as he beats someone in between or in a dominant fashion.

there's young guys coming up, there's always challengers light heavyweight has always been stacked in the UFC since the started having weight classes

plus jones can have super fights with cain and Weidman

jones is so active that's why he's cleaned out the division, he's the most active champ in UFC history, when is the last time cain even fought

I would take the LHW top 10 just for the fact that the top half of the LHW division is clearly more talented than the top half of the HW division.
