Most wouldn't care.

Oh they care. If you went to sherdog an hour after the fight, you'd see 3 threads about how the LHW division is the weakest. Cacs are mad as fukk right now breh :mjlol:

In terms of contenders for Jones, it is weak. Jones has beaten everybody good except Rumble. Right now that division is top heavy, a very talented top 5 (Jones, Cormier, Gus, Rashad & Rumble), but after that, it's . You know the division is looking bad when the most deserving contender after Rumble is Ryan fukking Bader.

The heavyweight division is by far the worst it's not even top heavy

light heavyweight is still the most competitive division and its been proving, by rumble beating in such a fashion

it's not jones fault he beat the best of the best, he hasn't had an easy fight since he got the belt, unlike the rest of the champs

middleweight is second worst division, that fact vitor is up for a shot and Machida just got a shot is proof, because they both jones left overs and came down getting a shot right away

I never said LHW is the worst division. Like you said, HW is worse. LHW is competitive in the top 5, but other than that it's

Let me start off by saying that Jones has a very impressive resume. But to say he hasn't had an easy fight is laughable. Chael was a super easy fight. Vitor and Rampage were easy fights too (although to a lesser extent).

middleweight is second worst division, that fact vitor is up for a shot and Machida just got a shot is proof, because they both jones left overs and came down getting a shot right away

As of late, you were making some pretty good posts that made sense (although I didn't agree with some of it). But this part right here is just :scust: To say MW is the second worst division is just downright stupid. It's a top 3 division in the UFC right now, the list of contenders is stacked: Jacare, Yoel, Machida, Rockhold, Mousasi, & Vitor.

Bullshyt. Their are probably 6-7 guys in the top ten who can hold that belt. LHW is ass. No one is beating Jones. And the talent gap between Gus(whos probably #4 right now) and Bader/Davis is the widest of any division besides BW

This.
Could you imagine the likes of Bader or OSP getting a title shot if Jones gets past Rumble. :scust:

you can't blame it all on the division though. when you have someone as dominant as bones as the champion, most 'contenders' look like ehhhhhhh. and everyone else, even guys in the top 10, look fukking hopeless.

anderson, gsp, aldo, bones and so on, fighters on that level...those guys won the title, batted all their challengers down time after time, then eventually people started saying the same thing about their weightclass. "their division is weak", "there's no one left", etc. yeah, cuz those guys holding the belt are THAT good. they make everyone else look like they're fighting for 2nd place.

but then, eventually someone comes along and beats that legend (or he retires or whatever) and all of a sudden the division they owned looks wide open (in other words, better) again. perception plays a huge part.

Is HW the worst right now? Cain is a big question mark right now. Who knows if he is as dominant with all these joint injuries. Then Werdum, JDS, Browne, Stipe, Hunt. Nice mix there. Plus you got guys on the rise like Mitrione and Magomedov. HW is actually better then it was a year ago

Machida and Vitor are the best fighters lol and they are old and from LHW, none of those other guys are beating Weidman, he will hold the belt if Vitor can't do it

Chael isn't a LHW, Rampage was not an easy fight he just made it look easy, and Vitor was not an easy fight he almost submitted jones

I understand what you're saying and agree with you. Jones is that good. But like I said, other than the top 5 (which is a very talented group), the rest is just :scusthov:.
