sherdog having a meltdown

they have a meltdown about everything :yeshrug:

i honestly can't believe that fight. i thought bones would tool him like he did to everyone else...but yo...i think gus won that fight 3 rounds to 2. bones threw a lot of kicks, which probably makes his strike totals look better but gus was definitely doing more damage through the first 3 rounds. not to mention, he took jones down and stuffed him over and over again. that spinning elbow fukked him up and he really faded after that, which looked bad.

i know it was a close fight and it's hard to out-point a champ but if gus won the last 3 instead of the first 3, i think he'd have the belt right now.

:childplease: How about we give credit to Gus being a bad motherfukker breh. I thought he was going to get handled and he was able to make Bones look way ordinary tonight. Jones would still be way faster and more athletic than the HW's he would fight, besides Cain, most HW don't have the head movement or the jabs that Gus has. Jones still young as fukk and is still developing and learning which is even scarier.
I understand he's developing but he's been labeled as the goat by many after Anderson got knocked out. The main difference is every other champ is out fighting people their own size while bones has been fighting guys he has upto 10 inches of reach over all this time. He's talking about fighting a khlistcho in a boxing match and talking hella shyt to an accomplished Olympic gold medalist in Daniel Cormier. Tonight he was exposed, I hate to say this but gsp should definitely be #1 pfp after tonight. People were dead set on Alex being submitted early in the fight just based off the Phil Davis fight, he's a fukking kick boxer and he put bones on his back for the first time something not even rashad and Chael were able to do. Machida, rashad, chael, vitor, all smaller

Jon jones literally fights like a bytch, he looked like Shanana they way he was trying to get away from those punches
He was physical stronger than his opponents point blank period, thats why he dominated, he just manhandled them
he looked like he wanted to cry in his corner sometimes, and Gus is not very crisp with his boxing, he was amateur champion in Sweeden, not the UK
or the States if he was better puncher Gus would've knocked Jones out

If mayweather trained with Phil Davis he would dominate MMA be serious, anyway he's damn near 40,
take a young guy like Victor Ortiz or Canelo, they could learn take down defense from Phil Davis just as quick Gus who was terrible at take downs, yet the most dominate nikka in the division couldn't take him down for shyt

I like MMA because I see the potential of what it can be, but man Jon Jones is a shame, and I believed in him
I can see me threads saying he could take the HWs, I was wrong like a motherfukka, Roy Nelson would give his ass the work
:yeshrug: its just the way things are these days. In old times these big dudes used to be mad slow, but these days they are freakishly tall with good coordination. Both Klitschkos are the same. Their size and reach alone means they never get properly tested, and when one or two guys HAVE come along they've won.

Built in genetic superiority, can't really do anything about it.

Klitschkos been tested and have lost before, its just in recent years the TALENT POOL is at an all time low, its not the same
they some big ass nikkaz, but if you 230 pounds you should have the power to be able to knock out any man on Earth no matter how bigger they are
unless they some 350 7 foot shyt

And that's part of the problem. I hear rogan, goldberg, & every UFC MMA pundit preach about TDD. They throw stats @ us 24-7 about that. Also considering jones does @ lot GNP. That alone should of put gus ahead on the cards.

The ufc has a judging problem, I know the commission picks guys but are they boxing judges or what?

I'm a big glover fan but him and jones = Rampage/Jones part II. I wonder what comrier is thinking now.

Wasn't bad judging. TDD wasn't a big issue for the judging as both fighters were stuffing each others weak take down attempts. they both only went down 1nce or twice and got right back up. There was no shots landed on the ground by either fighter, so the TDD nullified itself. I had it 1-1 heading into 3rd. and heading into 5th round i had it 2-2. Gus lost that 2nd round, and his corner knew it. watch a replay Gus' own corner told em to stop backin up, go forward n get em. Gus was dancing around too much that 2nd round. In the 3rd he came back throwing that jab out there, and it was the jab that was messin up Jones. He never faced a fighter who had a stiff jab that could touch/reach em. 5th round, Gus had hands down and was jus a dead tired at that point.

Phil Davis already the goat wrestling coach

Jones legacy can not be tarnished with your words. He has fought a lot of legit guys. If mayweather trained with phil davis hed still get destroyed because he just doesnt have enough takedown defense/wrestling to compete with wrestlers who are focused on only taking him down. I know you like to make it seem like any boxer who boxed his whole life can just train wrestling for a few months and destroy the entire mma circuit but you really underestimate these guys and definately need more knowledge as it concerns fighting. Gus has also won grappling tournaments where there are real killers man. Thats not something you can just pick up at mcdonalds in a few months These guys are striking and grappling on a daily basis for years of their lives. I cant ask you to have more understanding because i guess you feel boxers are true fighters, but, MMA is a different animal with less rules to protect boxers from the natural flow of a fight.

Idiots on here listening to the stupid commentating of Joe Rogan.

He kept saying Jones was getting hit, when it was clear that those Gus punches wasn't landing. Dude have became the Jim Lampley of MMA.

Yea I didn't fukk with how everyone is now shytting on Anderson after that KO with his GOAT status. I still think its a toss up between Anderson & Fedor on who the real GOAT of MMA is. And :yeshrug: Jones is just talking shyt, its like cats hate Jones either way saying he is too nice or he is too disrespectful. I don't mind his shyt talking. And I wouldn't say he is exposed, he just fought a great fukking fighter that is as good as he is. And :childplease: at GSP being P4P number 1. Jones finishing & dominating Rua, Machida, Rampage, Vitor>>>>GSP's decison victories imo, but that's just me. I think cats need to give the big Sweedish dude props and that he is a fukking beast breh, is he just that good and has way improved in every facet since the Davis fight and has a bright as fukk future. It was a great fight for both fighters career.

Bones' face was busted up so those punches were clearly landing, Rogan really didn't need to oversell what was already visual to the audience.
