then why not compare to SOC ? which is recent

rather then a movie that came out 8 years ago

your post came off a lil condescending :hubie: no hate breh

Because Straight Outta Compton is a major movie made with a real director and heavily distributed by Universal. SOC had a big push behind it.

Uh Oh! Tupac’s Estate Allegedly Compares ‘All Eyez On Me’ To Lifetime’s Aaliyah Biopic

  • fameolous__Tupac's family cannot speak on the 'All eyez on me' or his estate due to contract so I will. Tupac family isn't happy with the movie and before Tupac's mother passed she wanted @johnsingleton to produce the film, not LT Hutton. John had a better script from the receipts I have. In particular, John was going to tell the untold story about Left Eye and Tupac relationship that a lot of people don't know about. The story about John having a rape scene isn't true! The film was rushed and they only spent around 48 days on the entire movie. You may have noticed Tupac's estate who runs his Instagram account @2pac has yet to promote the movie @50centis not hating when he says the movie is not put together correctly.... he just knows the public has been played by this producer who put out the film despite many people disagreeing. As a director of movies and hit show series... 50cent respectfully has a duty to give you the real. The truth is most of the people promoting the movie 2Pac didn't even like or was beefing with before his death. This version of the movie originally was suppose to be the "next Aaliyah movie" & we all know how that played out. John Singleton script is the real movie and the one Tupac's mother wanted for her son legacy. I never met John or ever spoken to him I'm just giving y'all the real tea as always. Although Demetrius Shipp Jr was a great actor in this film... he wasn't the first choice despite the lies that were told on The Breakfast Club by LT. In fact, In 2015 actor (@MarccRose ) who played Tupac at the end of the Compton movie was the person who they wanted to play in 'All Eyez On Me'. (Those Receipts are available as well (text messages). However, Marc decided he didn't want to do it. MarccRose walked away because John Singleton left and he found out Afeni Shakur was not on board. Jada Pickett Smith was never contacted by LT Hutton or handed the script to approve. Originally, Jada was in the talks of being consulted when John Singleton was there but before it could get there LT Hutton shut it down by firing John Singleton and going his own route. Now we all know if Tupac was alive Jada would have at least read it.... SWIPE
:francis:Yup, fukk this movie. I'll illegally download and watch when the e-streets get fed.

I'm still laughing at how aloof Biggie came off in this movie. They didn't give him NO kind of personality.

Had the demeanor of a cranky old nicca.

Big and Pac were two humorous dudes.

It had to be electricity in the air/jokes flying when them niccaz crossed paths.

These niccaz(LT & Boom) was so scared/cautious, they decided to just paralyze the nicca

What absolutely fukkS my mind up, is that here you have an ICON who life story is 1000 times greater than any Hollywood script

How do you fukk that up?

:what:

Just put the mans life out the way he lived it, no need for extras

Perfect example: As per the cop who was on the scene on the Vegas strip when Pac got shot...the last words out of Pacs mouth was fukk YOU

How the HELL do you not use that as an ending? It actually HAPPENED

:mindblown:
Could you imagine if they built the stories up better, his run in with authorities (felonious capers :lolbron:) and pigs and it ends like that

:banderas:

Man it hurts me that this was how the Pac story was provided to the masses

Episode 12
The darkness of his last days,....the recording of Makaveli as his last will and testament...this would be a dark sinister visual...deep into Pacs emotions...culminating with the shooting in Vegas, and the week after

Yo Gravy was walkin around each scene like he was half sleep...he was grumpy as shyt...not the same portrayal as Notorious...it's like he didn't want to reprise the role

When he was walking in the hospital tryna see Pac, his acting had me :what:

Dude kept popping up, walkin slow like Bruh Man

I understand his purpose in the movie was to show concern about the dudes Pac was hanging with but he had no energy at all lol

Production budget doesn't include advertising and marketing. SOC had Universal backing. Trust me it makes a big difference and SOC probably had more theaters

:yeshrug:
i have no idea how a movie budget is broken down - with that said aint no way in hell, u gonna tell me a 45 million dollar budget is all production.... while they had lil toward advertisement and marketing
:comeon:

as far as theaters goes - your right i just checked the numbers

Notorious 1,641 theaters

SOC 2,757 theaters

AEOM 2,471 theaters
