This movie was better than I expected (I had verrrry low expectations).
But the reaction from everyone else in the theatre was:dwillhuh:

2 women were crying after it was over. :skip:
1 of them kept shouting during Tupac's sentencing saying shyt like "Don't let the white man do you like that pac" and she kept calling Brianna a hoe :mjlol:
The other kept shouting "Westside" (i think they came together)
The older couple beside me recited every... single... lyric... to every song played... :wow:
And the old breh had on a bandana too:deadmanny:
Pretty much everyone in the theatre was at least in their mid-30s, if not 40s
People actually stood up to dance when California Love came on:mjlol:

The film might have been better than my Lifetime movie expectations, but It did not warrant this kind of response :dead:

I'm seeing it tomorrow. But I need to know a few things.

First of all I did not think they would go to the last week beef with Snoop like bro above said. That's dope of Snoop to let that be on screen.

By the trailer it looks like they are going to include the Marin child shooting. I have a feeling that's something a lot of people didn't know and will 'tarnish' his legacy like some press reviews have said.

My question is how is Dre portrayed? We all know Pac was not messing with him, did dre push the button and SOC this? :beli:

Dre gets barely any screentime, California Love just kind of happens.
In fact, most songs just kinda happen in the movie.

They potray it like the only thing Pac ever needed more than one take for was Brenda's got a baby

Just got back from seeing this. And I have a lot of questions. but first off you're telling me,

MISTA - BLACK BERRY MOLASSES

Was the last song Tupac listened to in the car with Suge:ohhh:

It's a good song:hubie:

Just hard to believe:manny:

But if true, says a lot about PAC

Oh and Bobby Valentino about to see some checks :banderas:

There's 0 mention of their beef.

We see them being cool in like two scenes, then when Dre's gone Pac asks Snoop "Where Dre at?" and that's it.

Dre def pushed a button on this one.

You get one "I'm clearly not Dre" line and that's it :deadmanny:

This really wasn't good at all.

It's amazing how a movie about someone so polarizing and so interested could be so bland.

A lot of the people in this thread nailed it......I don't even think it's worth my time right now to go through everything that was wrong with the film.

So you saw it then...:patrice:

I thought that was a highlight of the film for me.

Him going from to studio room to studio room, showing his work ethic it was a nice touch

And all the behind the scenes accounts of how he recorded was like that. If you didn't have a verse ready 2pac would just write another one and go again.

It's how bad azz got on Krazy, because he had a verse ready.

2pac work ethic was tireless and he recorded songs very quickly. So that rang very true.

I mean if that's truly how it was, I guess I shouldn't be hating :yeshrug:
