In the right hands, Pac's story could be drastic.
I have a feeling LT Hutton & Benny Boom will be like two kids playing with dynamite.
Might make it go BOOM!, but they're not demolition specialist.

Saw the TV spot running a couple of times during Cavs-Warriors last night. Got some texts from ppl that saw it too. One guy asked me if they cgi'd Shipp to look like Pac.

Only thing that's "rough" is that courthouse scene, but I can't expect anybody to capture Pac in that moment.
I watched hundreds of auditions on YouTube and NOBODY pulled that scene off.
Other than that, I gotta give Demetrius a

I've only seen one person pull that court scene off. It seems like there was a lil overacting with the Afeni scene(by the actress playing Afeni) and the scene where he had the argument with Jada. The nikka they got playin Dre look more like Dre than the dude from Straight Outta Compton tho. I will say that.

I said it before, Demetrius has "calm" Pac down pat.

That's because its extremely hard to emulate turnt up Pac I dont care how much you look like him or sound like him.
Considering all that these clips gave hope. I was gonna see it regardless but this shyt ain't bad. Not bad at all
I'll admit, from the new clips this looks better than I originally thought. I'm sure I'll enjoy this, because I'm a Pac stan. But if they would've put this in the hands of an A list director, this movie would be the timeless epic it should be. Pac's story needs to be an epic classic. I'm afraid this'll just be a better version of Notorious.
I hope in the future someone else will do a A-list version of 2pac's story.

Take it with a grain of salt.
I remember going back n forth on IG with a guy who claimed he saw it last year.
His review sounded kinda similar.
Said it started off really good, but turned to shyt once they started focusing on the Death Row stuff.

I know LT was pushing for a 3 hour runtime and it's gonna be closer to 2:20. Fitting everything into a movie is tough because so much happened in his life. Maybe a longer cut is released later that fleshes things out more.
I still think an hbo or Netflix series is the right way to do Tupac's story. It can be as long as it needs to be that way. They can break it up into however many episodes is necessary.
