The police officer passed away. Trump is finished. He will be impeached and prosecuted - 100%.

impeachment time

make the GOP vote to leave in trump who got a cop killed. shamelessly, go all in on capitalizing on his death for political reasons
I’m actually impressed with how ruthless Dems are being. I think those GA victories really put the battery in their back.

Another police officer is dead. Now, the 5th person to die.

You want to know what's really fukked up about this?

His partners most likely escorted his killer out the building.

Then he got on a plane, flew home, and probably ate dinner with his family like it was a regular Thursday.

Mitch would likely stall out impeachment until after the 20th because he wouldn't want to put the rest of the party in a position to have to vote on it.

However, there is a precedent set that an impeachment trial can be held after a person is gone from office. It's the Belknap precedent. He served under Grant and they held the trial after his resignation.

So in theory Chuck could bring it to the floor of the Senate after the House votes to impeach.

I'd like to see Republicans argue that there shouldn't be impeachment proceedings after he leaves office. :pachaha:
