I'm sorry, but indicting Trump because he paid off a porn star in a shady way will not resonate with most of the country. It will not be seen as a serious crime and this will only help him.
January 6th however, is a clear indictment that most of public will accept, even though it's impact will not be as strong if the indictment was 1 year ago since Trump is currently a Presidential candidate.
If anything, I wouldn't mind if the indictment for this came after most serious indictments came first.

Where did I say the DA would indict Trump for January 6? That clearly comes from DOJ. You didn't read my post and just jumped to look for a reason to insult.
Trump is a former President who is running to be President again. The bar to indict a former President is extremely high because of the potential blowback from a weak indictment.
We can be honest and say that former Presidents are above the law to an extent. Politics.
