Where did I say the DA would indict Trump for January 6? That clearly comes from DOJ. You didn't read my post and just jumped to look for a reason to insult.

Trump is a former President who is running to be President again. The bar to indict a former President is extremely high because of the potential blowback from a weak indictment.

We can be honest and say that former Presidents are above the law to an extent. Politics.

If you think the majority of the public would really buy an indictment of a President due to a shady pay off to a porn star, then you are too deep into the liberal bubble to see reality.

I don't want any indictment of Trump that would only help him with general support. Not the MAGA support, but general support aka the general election.

You sound scared. Man up. Trump is a paper tiger bully who needs to be punched in the face.

It’s already been taken to a grand jury and the grand jury is recommending an indictment. It seems we’ve cleared this hypothetical threshold in real life at this point.

I remember when a president was impeached over lying about an affair. :sas1:

Which sells the narrative of a witch-hunt more? Launching investigations and never charging. Or launching investigations and indicting?

We can be honest and say that former Presidents are above the law to an extent.
Only if people like you normalize criminal behavior. I see how you’ve shifted from current presidents are above the low to now former presidents are above the law. Then speak on it like Trump’s behavior is normal and all presidents are just running around being criminals and thumbing their noses at justice.

Most former presidents are running around doing charity missions, painting water colors, and doing speaking tours :Obeezybaby:

Clinton was impeached and his support actually grew because of it.

I'm not excusing his behavior. I'm seeing a weak indictment and the potential backlash due to it. Any jury can recommend an indictment. Its not an indication of the general public support for indictment.

Trump should have the hammer laid on him. This is a ballpoint pen.

But he was impeached and tried. :sas1:

Someone has already been convicted for the exact same crime. Case seems airtight :sas1:

It doesn't matter if the case is airtight. What matters is that this isn't considered a serious crime. The 1st Impachment and Obstruction from Mueller was more serious than this.

The Impeachment was pure Republican politics and has zero relevance to this.

This is stupid.

Trump committed a crime. It’s plain and simple. I don’t know why or how you got pundit brained, but you are. I don’t care if the public don’t accept it as legit, it’s a crime.

If you want to have a gripe about the Jan.6 stuff, go call Merrick Garland. But you won’t because you seem to be waiting for orders from whatever pundit is giving you instructions.

When you get involved with politics, what are you even looking for? You don’t seem to care for a better society. You just want some weird west wing tv show political brinkmanship. It’s goofy. Grow up.
