Exactly, just goes to show how much the system is a lie. Anyone is looking at life for all the crimes they committed but since Trump was POTUS they need to protect the institution for future POTUS.


So they'll talk about how bad it is and abuses of power but no one will really do anything because it sets precedent. These people really do protect their own and despite how bad he is Trump is now one of their own. It's why Garland would defend him in Court, give him 18 months to keep classified information, not indict for obstruction, fraud, etc. They'll investigate Trump without really dropping the hammer. So it looks good to the people but I bet they're hoping he dies before having to make any decisions and they can just move on. Then they'll all attend his funeral and send condolences.
