The focus of today's session was establishing that Trump knew he was going to and did lose the election despite the constant rhetoric. Proving that he has been knowingly lying through legal attempts to prove otherwise as well as defrauding his base out of $250M based on that lie.

Rudy was confirmed pissy drunk election night, convincing Trump to go against his advisors and instead announcing that he won.

Bill Stepien and Barr's testimony proves all of the above without a shadow of a doubt. And how Trump's fixation on trying to declare the election for himself drove Barr to resign.

I don't buy Barr's narrative. He resigned cause he knew Trump was gonna try to try a coup attempt, not cause Trump wanted to declare the election for himself.

Imagine that.

The Senate commitee indicts Trump but the DOJ declines to pursue the charges..

Highly doubt that happens
It depends on the evidence that sits before the DOJ office and if it can be linked back to Trump and how solid of a case can be built.

They aren't saying anything interesting or new. We knew all of this stuff. At least last week's was more compelling.

Entering it in the public record does not harm Trump when everyone already knows that information. Nor does it harm his strong chances to win in 2024.
Fam, if Trump and all of the people who organized this are not locked up for what they did, then this was a waste of time. That is the only way this is remembered as something significant. If that orange turd either runs for reelection or wins, then this was nothing and whatever Bs this nation believed about itself will be over.

Last week was the overture. The massive appeal to the masses. That's why it was in prime time. These will by design be more detailed with the final one being the call to action. This is being played like a prosecution, not a presentation.

The GOP plays on the cynicism of the progressives and the apolytical. If we weren't so caught up on fukking Amber Heard and TikTok then perhaps our voices would be loud enough. The more you think the Theatre of Politics is pointless, the more space the opposing voices have to push their ideology.
If Political Theatre wasn't effective, then Trump would have never been president to begin with. What do you think a rally is?

What do you mean something by "anything that's gonna move the needle"?
it's just a bunch of stuff that is gonna result in the downfall of... no one of note. This is "Trump's going down: Pt. 25" and guess what? nothing will happen

won't sway a single Republican piece of shyt, and won't give any hope to any Lib. they could drop 10 "smoking guns" and we're still gonna be here in 3 months on the next scandal.
