More mayonnaise than I like in a show but I been a lowkey Jodie Foster stan forever so hopefully my kids old enough to feed themselves when this comes out cause they going to go hungry on sunday nights if not :wow:

Almost every extra casting has been for people could pass as inuit, for what it's worth :manny:

Most of the other HBO shows are either finished or further along in production. I’ll stick with it premiering during Winter next year.

We need that weird shyt back. They shot themselves in the foot making season 1 occult/cosmic horror adjacent. It set expectations for the rest of the series that it hasn't lived up to. And I liked season 3 more than most people.

Fred.
Apparently it's hard to stretch out a mystery/investigation for ten episodes.

Agree entirely. The first season of the show is basically this amazing tribute to southern horror, American Gothic, and early sci-fi, set and filmed in a part of the country that is beautiful, but haunting, spooky and mysterious.

I think they used his mental illness to try and generate a supernatural vibe through the "time travel" aspect, but S1 was really layered in a Twin Peaks/borderline X-Files level of mystique.

Then the second season was in industrial LA county :pachaha:

Season 2's story was good. It was just some of the dialogue and acting was subpar. I didn't hate it.
