Pidcock looking really good though. He rested on the descent and would have probably be the best today if not for the big 2

I was going to say if he could get to the top with them and then dive bomb down the descent that's his chance like Rodriguez did. But then camera showed he was losing ground.

Looks like he's dropped back to help Rodriguez

I've hated Froome hard but one thing I always respected is that he was always trying to attack.

Vingo riding too defensively IMO. Why ride in front of Pogi if it's just to watch your back smh

The fans cheering Pinot on the penultimate climb were fantastic.

The fans on the final climb are fukking a$$holes. Blocking the road and nearly bumping into riders. I saw a motorbike push at least one of them.

RoboFroome does have a few classic attacks on the resume. The Crosswind attack with Sagan. The descent down the Col de Peyresourde. Riding Wiggins off his wheel when he was his domestique :lolbron:

One difference was that penultimate climb had the Pinot turn and they prepared everything so there was no pandemonium. Had a safety rope that acted like a railing, had police presence and they even dropped leaflets with basic safety rules. Otherwise, shyt would have been hectic :whoa:

I don't think it's possible to secure all climbs like this. Would be too expensive.

For Pinot to have that moment by himself is probably better than winning the stage. A goodbye from him to his fans and the fans showing their appreciation for his career.

Classics One Day Specialist (just got to hope Pogacar or Remco arent in the race tho) and a stages here and there in the Grand Tours (Giro Tour Vuelta.) On the right course future World Champion he did win Silver in the u23 race in Flanders a few years back.
So a Tour victory is reaching?
I know a lot of Eritreans have high expectations for him and put $$ on the +10000 bet that he would finish top 10. I told them :whoa:
