@Liu Kang Imagine Remco trying to compete with Vinegegaard and Pogacar in next year's tour with Quick Step.
You think he can beat Vingo and/or Pogi ? I've not been that impressed with him on climbs tbf. Roglic cracked him several times in last year's Vuelta and the Tour doesn't have that many TTs any more for him to make gaps on them.

I feel he's a tad below the 2 other aliens but I definitely want to see how he fares against them. However he probably won't do it with QS.

I was thinking about why there aren’t more South American stars in cycling. They should be contending for the Tour de France every year with all the hills and mountains along the Andes.

My guess is that cycling at a pro level is expensive. And that puts a cap on how much talent you can develop down there. A poor kid isn’t going to be able to afford a good road bike. Not early on.

Probably the cycling infrastructure isn’t great either.

I was mocking the whole Remco 2024 Tour fanboys narrative they've been running with.

He's not beating Poga or Vingegaard definitely not with QS. This Tour has shown Remco if he's serious about 2024 and to compete he has to change teams otherwise.

Ineos is probably the best team for him. Theyve podiumed in at least 1 GT every year since 2015 and only times theyve missed out is 2010 and 2014. Both excel at riding to numbers and maintaining a tempo when they are in trouble. Also seeing G regularly call him Little b*stard is :pachaha:

They have stars 99% of them are Colombian and then you have Carapaz for Ecuador. Nairo and Superman Lopez been phucked over and wasted by Moviestar to protect Valverde and have drugs attached to their name. Also Nairo is on the downside of his career. Bernal got injured he was suppose to have Next before Pogacar came onto the scene. And Carapaz is Olympic Champ. Rigoberto Uran is well respected and loved by many.

What are the future prospects for Bini?

Classics One Day Specialist (just got to hope Pogacar or Remco arent in the race tho) and a stages here and there in the Grand Tours (Giro Tour Vuelta.) On the right course future World Champion he did win Silver in the u23 race in Flanders a few years back.
