To be the heat she fell in was 1500m, the finals she won was the 5000m (which she had already ran the heat for earlier in the week). She has the semis for the 1500m tomorrow and then the 1500m Finals and 10,000m Finals after that.

to run 1500 fall exert that energy in the morning and then like 12 hours later run 5000 meters is nothing short of incredible. Her last lap on that 5000 meters was insane

.... then he got caught skipping the mandatory drug testing for the next olympics, wasnt even allowed to defend his gold in Athens '04

Then he made up a whole fake coverup story about a motorcycle crash being the reason why he skipped the testing.... then got CAUGHT staging the crash and ended up in jail.

You forgot that his so called fake car crash the occupant was also the 100m silver winner from Sydney

both those athletes were supposed to be the stars of the games in Athens being Greece

NBC has basketball and track events on their app because they are trying to have more people subscribe to their app. They are trying to compete with Amazon, Netflix plus the other big streaming services’ user base. It is really annoying, but it is business. People are not going to subscribe for swimming. They are getting a bunch of people complaining about it, though

I read an article using this as a reason to bolster public TV much like BBC because these games need to be seen by all and not behind several paywalls
