sidenote, but any of yall remember When that Greek dude came out of nowhere and obliterated everyone in the 200m final at Sydney? Destroyed the world record and everything. People were going nuts.
.... then he got caught skipping the mandatory drug testing for the next olympics, wasnt even allowed to defend his gold in Athens '04
Then he made up a whole fake coverup story about a motorcycle crash being the reason why he skipped the testing.... then got CAUGHT staging the crash and ended up in jail.
And they STILL let him keep his gold medal
Olympics started/associated with Greece, so they're not taking that from him either lol
