That was a crazy era and that's fukking crazy. Who hosted that battle with him and Jin if you remember. Was it on 106 or something or just some random YouTube clip? That's wild he was part of that with PH and them. No wonder he love this rap shyt so much lmao.

Nah not 106, before even that lol. It was some underground shyt at a tournament. Think Blaze Battles, Braggin Writes, Source Unsigned Hype, that type of scene though I don't remember exactly which. I don't even think it was a video, just audio.

Poison Pen used to host a lot of those battle tournaments. Between that era plus Grindtime and SMACK, Posion Pen gotta have seen the most battles in history lol. Jin had just moved from Florida to New York back then, and was running through nikkas in the underground freestyle scene before landing on 106. Those type of freestyle events used to happen on the east coast, while the west coast would have stuff like Scribble Jam (where Thesaurus and Illmaculate got known from).

And yea he's obviously a super hiphop head lol. Was rapping and running around the scene ages ago, so he's friends with and knows all the New York rap nikkas.

There's mad people with a platform that get big guests, and outside of Drink champs and MDWG, none of them have the traction Math does. Most aren't even remotely close. Let's not downplay what he's doing.
