I wonder if Math heard about the story of Talib being boo'd or not liked in the Lyricist Lounge days and if those rumors had any merit
It's nothing for someone to get booed. A lot of those events were full of aspiring artists. I could see other artists banding together to diss Talib. I can imagine how sick they must have been when the heard that "KWA-LEE" on the radio.
Talib would light them up if they tried to say anything about him as an artist. Math & Mecca were both artists on the same grind and they didn't get anything close to the success of Talib. It doesn't make sense to come at him that way.
