As much as Math don't wanna admit it, the crew of esso, hynaken, and bigga really did give that show elite tier status. Just the right mix.

Also remember when it started it was Math, Knowledge and Mz Fit.

I f*ck with Esso and Hynaken's podcast more than MEO now.

When they left MEO, the whole pod got dry, to me.

I feel like MEO had a dry spell some months ago, but I've actually liked the last months of pods.

I honestly never listen to BagFuel anymore, Hynaken is terrible, I don't know how y'all do it lol. He makes Gat Murdah sound like Peter Jennings

They're way too gossipy on MEO now.

I liked the early days when they would actually just focus on the music and the artist. I think the AZ episode showed how childish they are on there now. Trying to get people to say certain things for clicks and all that. BagFuel is more of the old formula of talking about the business side of music and actually getting to know the artist. No gossip and all that. Just real talk.

Hynaken was just asking Large Professor a lot of questions about the culture and what he enjoys most about it. They asked him about back in the days and how he sees Hip Hop evolving, etc. Just real sh*t. No nonsense for clicks.

Yeah Math does that because he's a VladTV understudy. That doesn't bother me too much, because it's usually sprinkled here and there for clickbait reasons. I get it, it's a business at the end of the day. I can live with that. My biggest issue with Math is he likes to play contrarian too much and a lot of times he's not even educated on the stance he's taking. So he's just being annoying.

I think Mecca provides a good music discussion balance. My issue with Mecca has always been that nikka too many times needs to express his disagreement with the artist. I like it when it's a little pushback but too many times he'll derail the discussion. Esso has this issue too.

I might tap back into Bagfuel is Hynaken reeled it back in. Every time I tapped in he was on his Thisis50.com shyt, where he was just asking out of left field questions that wasn't even part of the discussion. Real DJ Envy-ish.

That gossip thing definitely bothers me, lol.

I think it's because Combat set the bar so high. So I can't even listen to dudes trying to slip clickbait sh*t into the interviews. The artists don’t like it either. I feel like the group up there now isn't knowledgable enough on the people they speak to. So they resort to the gossip to keep the talks moving, and that's just low-level work, to me. Mecca just always seems miserable AF and like he doesn't even like the people they have up there.

BagFuel has more of a chill and funny vibe, where they're laughing together with the artists and supporting the artists throughout the talks. The Bangladesh episode was a lot of that. Just talk on the business, but also speaking about the pitfalls of bad deals and real talk about how to get your business right when you're coming into the game. They let the guests speak and lead, and they don’t spend a lot of time on the gossip and all that. Same with the Large Pro episode. That's a legend. So they spent a lot of time just showing him wild respect and asking for his take on the actual music and culture. That's what I want to hear. I can't sit and listen to shows that want to ask people about hearsay and gossip sh*t. That's like some beauty parlor type vibe.
